Shamatha-Vipashyana Mahamudra Intensive (SVMI)

Join us for a full day of practice and investigation!

Brief description:

Shamatha-Vipashyana Mahamudra is one of the three main tracks of KCCL and will therefore be scheduled on a monthly basis. Each SVMI has its own theme and will be introduced by a senior resident teacher or a guest teacher.

This months talk will be given by Lodrö Sangpo and is entitled:

“If enlightenment implies freedom from kleshas, then what does it mean to reduce and transform kleshas in Shamatha-Vipashyana Mahamudra?”

The monthly occurring SVMIs are designed to be both independent or units of their own and cumulative or building on each other so that over a year’s time the various basic aspects of Shamatha-Vipashyana Mahamudra will be addressed and practiced in a structured way.

The SVMIs are open to both beginning and advanced practitioners.

Initial meditation instruction can be given on request either individually or in group. Some Intensives might include guided group meditation and group discussion.

Presently, the format of the SVMI is set up in such way, that the SVMI will start at 9am and end at 6pm, and will include lunch and a light dinner (suggested contribution: $ 15).

In order to be able to better plan the meals, please contact us if you intend to come:
