Description:
In the first class, we will present a slideshow and videos of the walk up to the temple complex, as well as of the other important temples in the vicinity. We will discuss the history, layout and content of the various shrine rooms and caves of the main building. Then we will discuss the eight manifestations of Padmasambhava.
In the second class, we will discuss the visualized outer and inner mandalas of the Sadhana of Mahāmudrā: its surroundings, the blazing mountain, the palace, and the Dorje Trolö/Karma Pakshi body and inner mandalas.
In conclusion, we will explore how the Taktsang and Sadhana of Mahamudra mandalas are interconnected and enrich each other.
