No Feed-bagView and Practice of Non-dual Mindfulness (1 of 6 classes)

In-person at KCCL and online via San Francisco Shambhala Center

Starting Saturday, May 27, at 10:30am (PST) or 2:30pm (AST)
6 weekly Saturday classes: May 27; [June 3 class will be rescheduled]; June 10; June 17; June 24; July 1

In this class we will try to find a balanced approach to view and practice of non-dual mindfulness.

(1) By “non-dual” mindfulness we mean the inducing of self-aware states in which the subject-object duality structure of ordinary experience has subsided; and (2) by non-dual “mindfulness” we mean mere self-aware non-distraction, or spontaneous relaxation into one’s ordinary self-aware (buddha-)nature.

We will gradually explore these various aspects and nuances in a step by step process according to the Yogacara and Mahamudra traditions.
