Equinox Long Werma Lhasang celebration for young and old
Tuesday, September 22, from 10:00–11:00am Atlantic Time

Description:  The fall equinox is the time after which the nights become longer than the days. The equinoxes are symbolic of the transitions of life. In Pagan mythology it is a time to give thanks for the summer and to pay tribute to the coming darkness.
The exact time of the fall equinox is 10:30am. Thus, starting at 10:00am we will first perform the Long Werma Lhasang  ceremony and then chant together the Aspiration Prayer to Samantabhadra, one of the most famous and often-recited Dzogchen texts. which is traditionally done during an equinox.

Who can attend: Everyone—old and young.

Location: Buddha garden at KCCL.
